RSF Announces continued extensive combing operations across the city of El-Fasher\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have continued extensive combing operations across the city of El-Fasher, aiming to eliminate the last remaining strongholds of terrorists and mercenaries attempting to flee the area. The RSF has also deployed specialized military teams to protect civilians and secure streets and public facilities throughout the city.<\/p>\n

In parallel, engineering and demining units have begun clearing operations to remove landmines and other remnants of war, as part of a broader effort to restore normal life gradually. Preparations are underway for the deployment of Federal Police Forces to assume responsibility for maintaining security once the city is fully stabilized. Subsequently, markets, hospitals, and essential public services are expected to reopen.<\/p>\n

\nThe Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues to launch combing operations on a large-scale that encompassed the city of El-Fasher, aiming to eliminate the last of the terrorists and mercenaries\u2019 strongholds, as the latter attempt to flee the city. Furthermore, our forces deployed military teams, tasked with protecting civilians and securing the streets as well as public places.<\/p>\n

Specialized teams from our forces promptly initiated the process of removing mines and clearing the city of war remnants, in an effort to gradually restore the sense of normalcy to the city, and in preparation for the deployment of Federal Police Forces to assume security duties after the city is fully secured, for, naturally, Markets, Hospitals, in addition to all essential service facilities will then reopen.<\/p>\n

We reaffirm our utmost commitment to protecting civilians inside El-Fasher following its liberation from the control of the terrorist Islamic Movement\u2019s Army and its mercenary militias. In addition, we, in the Rapid Support Forces, reiterate our commitment to International Laws and Conventions, and to implementing the leadership\u2019s directives to treat prisoners of war (POWs) with respect in accordance with the International Humanitarian Law, the Geneva Conventions, and the standing orders issued by the leadership, which are based on the principle of respecting human rights, protecting civilians, and treating POWs with dignity.<\/p>\n

We declare to the public that the liberation of El-Fasher represents a milestone in the Sudanese people\u2019s struggle against the regime of oppression and terrorism pursued by the extremist Islamic Movement for a period of time that exceeds three decades. Hence, the liberation of El-Fasher will serve to hasten the inevitable end of the era of injustice and corruption, uprooting it once and for all.<\/p>\n
